Career summary

Civil/geotechnical engineer I began my career in 1990 as a project leader with a firm of consulting engineers working in the Rhône-Alps region acting as head of its civil infrastructure and building engineering department.

Since joining SOGREAH / since 2012 ARTELIA / in 1998 (and until 2018) I am responsible for overall design and project supervision assignments in the context of large engineering projects.

Between 1999 and 2003 I worked as assistant manager at SOGREAH’s Grenoble branch office, in 2003 I joined SOGREAH’s Water Treatment Division as Project Director.

In 2008, I held the position of Deputy Manager of the Project Management and Implementation Division (Urban and Industrial Environment Branch) and was responsible - among other things (covering overall design, tendering, contract management and works supervision aspects, business development and offers) - for a team of 15 specialist water treatment engineers and technicians and for major infrastructure projects throughout France.

I was working in different units for major export infrastructure projects (sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, water treatment plants, reservoirs, networks, solid landfills) as Project Director and head of division.

From 01/2019 to 10/2022 I joined EGIS and occupied the position of “Regional Representative” in EGIS Nairobi office, where I was responsible of the local “Water & Maritime” staff (8 persons), followed the business development in East Africa and acted as Project Director and Team Leader for major water supply and waste water projects in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Djibouti.

From 11/2022 to 08/2023, I was employed by COWI S/A Kenya as Key Expert – Team Leader for the Thika & Githunguri Water Supply and Sewerage Implementation Project in Nairobi, Kenya.

In 2024 I created the company "ANENZ Consulting" and since I propose my services to and work for engineering companies in France and internationally such as CONSULTANT - FREE LANCE.
